Installation Problem 7 Years, 5 Months ago
Hi, I'm trying to install Highslide and am getting the following error message:

JInstaller::install: File 'C:\wamp\www\site\tmp\install_4c1aa7ab307c9\install.hsconfig.php' does not exist.
Component Install: Could not copy PHP install file.
It was not possible to delete the selected file.: 'index.html'

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Hi,

You might have a partial download resulting in a corrupted zip file.

Try extracting the contents of the zip file to a directory. If the extraction is successful, install the component from the directory.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

At this point, I'm not sure what the problem could be. Installing from a directory usually solves problems like this. Can you see the install.hsconfig.php file in the admin directory?

Hi Ken and everyone!

I've just spent some hours and found a solution. It's a problem with XML file (Ken, at least I think so. Please read and take measures)

I did a workaround :
1) Unzipped the component to a folder
2) copied 'install.hsconfig.php' to the root of zip-folder, pressed 'Install'
3) PROFIT!

Did not make any changes to XML, that's up to Ken.

Hi,

Ok, I've made xml changes and relocated the install file. Would you be interested in testing the new install package to see if it installs correctly.

If so, please email me and I'll send you the new install package.
