Hi Peter,

Did you try manually creating the subdirectories under the hsconfig directory? hsconfig/js and hsconfig/css

If not, create those and try to republish.

Folders created (I can upload and delete files over ftp), component republished, ufortunately result is the same.

Do I have to change something under Site Configuration? <- This also didn't help.

What version of Joomla and PHP are you using?

Do you have safe mode turned on?

As a workaround to get you going, you can get config files from this site. In your browser enter:

www.joomlanook.com/hsconfig/js/highslide-sitesettings.js

and

www.joomlanook.com/hsconfig/css/highslide-sitestyles.css

These will display in the browser window. You can either copy/paste them to a file or do a 'save as' from the browser menu.

PHP Version 4.4.0
Safe Mode: Off

After manual uploading your config files, "Site Configuration" in "Highslide JS Configuration Manager", CHANGED STATUS TO "published"!!! And I can change settings and save them, so you solved this weird problem.

Hi,

The contents of the page that you posted look ok. It sounds like the configuration is not being published correctly. What changes did you make to it?

Do the configuration files exist? They are located in the hsconfig directory in the root of your Joomla installation.
They are hsconfig/js/highslide-sitesettings.js and hsconfig/css/highslide-sitestyles.css
