Sorry, was not aware that I have to re-publish after changes to highslide configuration.

Anyway, still no slideshow, image definitins in resulting page still do not have <a class="" ...
instead of <a class="highslide imageloader_hidden"

Usually I make changes to site on local WAMP environment, and then export / import the full database.
Does this include any changes to Highslide and Imageloader configurations, or are the directories / files to watch and manually upload?

Hi,

I looks like you have the Output template parameter for imageloader set to the template for lightbox. Try resetting that parameter to its default value for highslide.

Ken,
thank you, your last suggestion gave me a real success:
  • the setting of imageloader was an empty Output template parameter. No idea why my second example based on settings in imageloader plug-in settings did not work before.....

  • the {_imagelaoder... statements in the content text indeed hat that definition for the lightbox template.
So I added outputtemplate="plugins/content/imageloader/templates/highslidetemplate.txt
to my first and third imageloader example statement in the content text

No idea why my second example based on settings in imageloader plug-in settings did not work before.....

In the mean time I decided to create Joomla test site to have a clean environment (the other site was created with the Jupgrade utility, do not know what excactly was copied / transfered....):

joomlatest.familie-abderhalden.ch

So on my new test site the slide show is nearly how I want it.
Remaining problem: I want to see only ONE picture / thumbnail to represent the slide show in the text.

Thank you, so the basic function is now as I expected to work.

Next capability to play with during the weekend is to show EXIF data: I always wanted to add descriptions only once to my JPGs in the photos archive, and all systems presenting the pictures should take and display that description and camera timestamp stored within the picture....

Thanks again for the very responsive help, and have a nice weekend
