FAQ drop downs not displayed only in IE9 11 Months, 4 Weeks ago
This is a very similar problem to some others. Accordian FAQ performs exactly as I expect in FF12 and Chrome but in IE9 its as if the JScript is not working at all. All topics are displayed beneath their respective headings. There are some other jScript plugins being used on this page but I'm hoping you might be able to suggest what is causing the problem only in IE9. I have individually diabled the slider at the top odf the page and the menu system and neither of these have any effect on making the FAQ dropdowns work in IE9

I'm using the module and all FAQ's are in a separate article

Page adddres is: www.backupoz.com.au/index.php/faq

TIA

Hi,

I see what you mean. Please try this. Replace the modules/mod_accordionfaq/js/preparefaq.js file with the one in the attached zip file.

Please let me know how it works.

Thanks,

- Ken

Ken, you are a God.

I have been disabling every module and plugin one at a time for about 4 hours to try to find what is breaking AccordianFAQ but nothing worked.

I am very pleased to say the new preparefaq.js fixed it.

Thankyou very much - superb support.

And YES it still works in Chrome and FF

Thanks again.

Hi Ken, this is just a minor bug report.
After putting in the new preparefaq.js, the problem in IE9 (and IE8) is indeed fixed, but I was using arrow pointers and all the arrows in IE9 point to the left but in FF and Chrome they point to the right as expected. I worked around the problem by changing the icon to check instead of arrow, but just thought you might like to know about it for the next update.

Thanks for a fabulous product.

Before using the fix no slide was displayed, using the fix all works fine.
I don't have the arrow problem in IE8 with the Plugin
(not tested in IE9 and never tested the Module)

I'm using this without arrow problem:
faqclass="redmondfaq orangearrow2 headerbackground headerborder round5"

regards
